Cykl skupiony jest
na obserwacji procesu utraty własnej tożsamości poprzez pryzmat
ciała.
Żyjemy w czasie,
gdzie ciało jest ważnym elementem popkultury – kluby fitness,
zdrowa żywność, diety „cud” stały się wyznacznikiem nie
tylko określonego, pożądanego wyglądu, ale także całego sposobu
na życie.
Ulegając bezmyślnie tej propagandzie, bez zachowania własnej odrębności, ulegamy zniewoleniu, wpadamy w więzienie wymogów społecznych. Moje ciało nie należy już do mnie. Jest wzięte pod lupę i stało się warunkiem mojego istnienia i akceptacji społecznej.
Wychudzone i zmęczone w tym katorżniczym wyścigu, znalazło się w więzieniu. Proces „zanikania” zaczyna się w bezkrytycznym czerpaniu ze śmietnika „dobrych porad” i zupełnym ogłuchnięciu na rzeczywiste potrzeby ciała. Kolejne próby bycia takim, „jak chcą tego inni”, muszą skończyć się porażką. W konsekwencji zyskujemy bezkształtną formę – nieładną, zdeformowaną, niepotrzebną.

Series focused on observation of the
process of losing one’s identity though the prism of the body.
We
live in the times when the body is an important part of pop culture –
fitness clubs, healthy food, miracle diets became the signs of not
only defined, desired appearance, but also of the whole way of life.
Yielding thoughtlessly to this propaganda, without keeping one’s own distinctiveness we are becoming slaves, we fall into the prison of social demands. My body is not my own any longer. It is closely observed and became the condition of my existence and social acceptance.
Starved and exhausted in this destructive race ends up in prison. The process of “disappearing” begins with blind following from the garbage of “good advice” and total deafening to real needs of the body. Subsequent attempts to be the way” others wants” must end with a failure. As a consequence we gain shapeless form - Unattractive, deformed, and unwanted.
